Spring is such a refreshing time of year, fresh blooms, baby lambs, green foliage bringing life back to nature and of course the time of year when the weather gets warmer, the layers start disappearing, sandals come out with softer textures, pastel colours and fresh dewy makeup looks appearing in our wardrobes and outfits.
Being a southern hemisphere babe we’re the last to make the most out of S/S ‘14 while the rest of the fashion world has just finished off fashion weeks for S/S ‘15, which can be a bit bittersweet, but why not make the most of this. I love mixing up the latest trends of 2014 with the new looks that are emerging for the coming year.
Spring brings us pastel hues, soft fabrics with pops of yellow, blue and pink neon’s. Metallic finishes, mid wash denim, stripes, floral and monochrome prints are still taking a strong stand as is masculine tailoring, with many of these trends continuing into SS15.
Here is a few of my spring cravings, I hope this gives you inspiration for your spring wardrobe!
